BGP communities
BGP large communities of the frankonIX route servers: steering, information and filter reasons.
frankonIX uses BGP large communities (RFC 8092) exclusively. The route server ASN 214591 is 32-bit, so classic communities according to RFC 1997 are not possible. Steering communities are set by the member and removed on export to the other members. Informational and filter communities are set by the route server; they are only visible in the looking glass and do not reach the members either.
